Excel External PowerBI connections changing to other connection on refresh all.

Hello all,

This may not be the right forum, however it is related to both platforms.

I have an excel workbook with 2 connections to 2 different PowerBI files. I have 1 sheet with Pivot tables pulling from 1 connection, and a 2nd sheet with pivot tables pulling from another connection. When I refresh all, the second sheets pivot tables automatically change sources to the first connection. This makes no sense to me and I am not sure why this could be happening. I have rebuilt the connections and this did not fix the issue. Can someone please assist?

How did you connect to the PowerBI file? Like this? I tested this scenario with no problems.

Or are you extracting the port number of the Power BI Desktop instance to connect to the PowerBI file?
I've also tested this scenario and it works.

Hello

I am not able to connect a Powerbi data set by going through "from power platform". I do not have a PowerBI option.

The only way I was able to connect was to go to powerbi, analyze in excel, then copy a pivot table from the work book it creates, to the workbook I need it in. 

I've also determined that when I refresh, it does not change data sources. When another person refreshes, it changes the datasources.
