Errors when trying to connect MS Project to MS Power BI

Good day,

As i am trying to connect a Project Online file (saved on SharePoint) to a Power BI dashboard, i keep getting the same error message.

While following the steps provided by the next link: Use Power BI Desktop to connect with your Project data - Microsoft Support, everything is going fine, i found the PWA link on the Project for the web page: https://xxxxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa.

Then i've downloaded the right file from the provided Github link and opened the file on Power BI.

Then when i try to log in after providing Power BI with the PWA link, i keep getting rejected after logging in and teying to connect.

It says: We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again.

I have seen some things about editing the permissions in the settings, but with no results.

Does anyone have a clue what i'm doing wrong?

Kind regards.

    Hi Anonymous

1.Based on the message you provided, your project is stored in SharePoint, you need to select a Microsoft account for authentication, and this account must be the same as the account you use to log in to Power BI, otherwise the authentication may not be successful. So please check that whether  the account you used for authentication is the same as the account you used for Power BI.

2.Please check that if you have the related permission in SharePoint site, if you don't have the related permission, if will casue the problem, you can refer to the following link about the permission.
