Error when using Date.From in calculated table

I'm trying to follow the instruction here (set default slicer value to current month in PowerBi)

 

However, when I want to use the function below, it gives an error (when hovering over the formula it says (Date.from is not a function). What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    The formula you are using is for power query (and in power query it functions).

    In dax you ha to use 

    Column = TODAY()
