Error on values containing Alphanum and special characters

Hi,

My field type was set up as numeric and then I changed to text but I am still getting error status.

I have tried to use the transform > clean option but does not get rid of error status for the following type of values I am getting errors LB/TY/642/479 or 12345 774

 

Is there a way to allow these type of values?

    Changing it back to text will only work if it is the first data type change in all queries referencing the column. Swim back upstream and find the first instance where the data type is changed to numeric, and change it there.
