Error during importing PQ/PP files The QueryDependencyGraph should not be null for a V3 model

Hi everyone,

I've just installed Power BI, and wanted to import some data (using option PFile>Import>Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View) and system response as in the title.

 

The file contains several tables, joins, each linked to SQL queries; There are also DAX measures and KPIs.

    Hi Thinkmore , 

    It could be that the measures table is causing the problem. I would save a copy of the xlsx and delete that table. Then try to import.

    Then you know if that's the issue.

    "some data" is a bit unclear to me: What kind of a file did you try to upload here?

    does that xlsx have Power Query connections to the data model or still the old legacy connections directly to the database?

      In this file, connections are made in Power Query, which has a SQL database data feed in the definition. In addition to the joins, one merged table has been added to the data model in Power Pivot, where I have added DAX measures and KPIs.
