I have a Power Query in Excel and am trying to bring it in to Power BI. The following connection string is being used:
provider=MSOLAP.8;initial catalog="Time";data source=Ams2wp-bwc20-3\DWH;mode=Read;mdx compatibility=1;safety options=2;mdx missing member mode=Error;update isolation level=2
Power BI returns an error message with the details: "OleDb.DataSource does not currently support multidimensional data sources"
Is there any alternative for connecting Power BI to this source?
You should be able to use Import in Power BI/PBI Desktop, rather than going through Power Query itself.
