Hi All, When trying to refresh data from a power query that connects to a fabric warehouse we get the following error:
"We couldn't autheticate with the credentials provided please try again"
The credentials are correct and other users are able to use this excel sheet and its embedded query. I have already gone in and editted and later cleared the local workbook credentials, but that does not solve the error.
Does anyone have an idea?
Cheers
Hans

The error "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided" often occurs in Power Query when there is an issue with how the credentials are being authenticated or managed in your local environment. If other users are able to use the same Excel sheet and query successfully, this points to a configuration issue specific to your system or account.
Make sure your account have the same access.

This was exactly the problem, we had to assign a free powerbi license, of which you have unlimited. Not quite sure how that works.
The last step was that i had to manualy clear the users credentials for that sheet , on his machine. That forced a login and solved the issue.
