Enterprise Gateway security settings - Admin VS User
Hi! Do all users need to be gateway administrators to be able to use the gateway datasources? Me and another user shares a .pbix file. It is on a shared drive and should be identical datasour...
The other user was in a different (older) version of Power BI Desktop.
Updated to the oktober release and now it works.

The user doesn't have to be gateway administrator, after you add him as user of the data source in gateway, he can use the data source to refresh Power BI report.
In your scenario, please make sure that if the user uses same connection string as yours to connect to the data source, and if the users adds data sources in the PBIX file.
By the way, what is the data source?
