Enterprise Gateway refresh error to on-premise SQL Server
I've correctly configured a enterprise gateway:
the Tech Staff told me that 400 error was about a PowerBIErrorCode: DMTS_CanNotFindMatchingDatasourceInGatewayError.
The enterprise gateway was not able to find all datasource, even if on the first check it was.
Solutions is to manually check all the datasource of the report and all the datasource on the enterprise gateway.
I’ve encountered a similar issue with the same error. The solution is to grant the necessary permissions to the service principal or the user accessing the API (ReadAll or User permission), for the connections, and On-premises gateway. You can do this in Fabric or POWER BI service settings > Manage Connections and Gateways > Connections/ On-premise Gateways.
