Hello there, I have an interesting situation here.
I loaded several tables via power query and I'm enabled to refresh the connections (Excel > Data > Queries & Connections > Queries - right click refresh) when my wi-fi disconnect. If my wi-fi connected, refresh connections could kill Excel. I check Task Manager, it shows that Excel not responding.
I rebuilt my file three times. When the file just created, it works fine. But the problem shows up when I use the file several days later.
Has anyone had similar situation here? How did you fix it?
Thanks,
Dan
That's really bizarre and no I have not seen that or know how to fix it but want to be on this thread in case someone finds a solution.
Only thing I can suggest, You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
Thanks Greg, I'll check Issue forum see if I can find similar one there.
I'm wondering if Excel is checking something online before refreshing queries. It's weird though.
Cheers,
Dan
