However, filters that are part of the report do not show up in NAV, even though they are functioning and available in the Power BI portal. The ellipse options in NAV allows for sorting by the various columns, and exporting the data, but not filtering the view. This is regardless of the view mode used in NAV.
Is this just a missing feature in the NAV implementation of Power BI? If so, it's a very short-sighted one. Or is it a configuration issue?

Based on my research, you can follow this video to embed Power BI reports in Dynamics NAV. From the video, filter pane in report is not available after embedded in Dynamics NAV. As this issue is more related on Dynamics NAV, to double confirm this, I would suggest you post a thread in Dynamics NAV forum.
