Do updates to PBIX files (like new charts and new Measures) flow to Power BI Site?

In the Preview version of Power BI, I saw that for an Excel file hosted on my SharePoint Power BI site, that changes to the files' PowerView reports were reflected in the Power BI Preview site. This mainly was centered around new pages and new charts showing up on the Report.

My question is this: Suppose, after PULLING IN a PBIX file into Power BI, I need to make a change to the model, a new calculation, or modify a chart via Power BI Desktop, are those changes reflected automatically on Power BI? (Assuming the file is saved in my OneDrive).

I have seen the Publish feature on Power BI Desktop, but here's the thing, the file was pulled up into a different workspace, one geared to a team.

What to do? If I Publish, it goes to my default workspace, does it not? How do I publish model and report changes to a different workspace?

Thanks in advance.

The PowerBI Desktop file stored in OneDrive updates every one hour like excel files. This is the way to update changes.

Upload form PBI Desktop has some bugs ( most of them fixed ) but it keeps the first log in you entered and I cannot see a way to change it..

When I make changes in the file and then "Refresh Now" I get the latest data model ( measures etc ) but the visuals/graphs are not displayed..have errors..But after a while the get fixed. Probably after the hour passes and autoupdate from onedrive.

Is not 100% reliable but I think the Team is fixing stuff..

Update..Actually you can sign out and then sign in with a different account on PBI Desktop..so you can Publish to PowerBI in different workspaces..
