I am using a DirectQuery on a Report that connects to MS SQL Server database, and configured a gateway to have these data live on the report.
Gateway is up and running, and all queries are configured as direct query.
On both PBI Web and desktop, data is always up-to-date, but after publishing the report to a URL it doesn't get live data, data is 1 or more hours old no matter how i refresh the webpage, despite data are available on PBI interface correctly.
Hi @TamerHanyAmin,
Based on this official article, due to caching, subsequent updates to reports or visuals to which a Publish to web link points can take approximately one hour to be visible to your users, please wait for one hour or more hours to check if the reports get updated. Also reboot your machine and open the URL in different web browsers to check the refresh behavior.
However, if you need the updates to be immediately available, please delete the embed code and create a new one.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
