Differences in account name - upper and lowercase

I recently had an account upgraded to O365 which resulted in issues with the personal gateway. After some review I noticed differences with my names in Azure AD and Office 365 where one was uppercase and one was lowercase.

Prior to this change I was able to have a personal gateway running and files in a group workspace refreshing. Now the files show the dataset configured by NameS where Power BI shows me logged in a names and does not allow me to take over the file and schedule refresh.

When I tried My Workspace and a file I created my gateway status is greyed out. Is there any known bugs when there are differences in upper and lower cases of a user name
