I am using the following function to determin if an entity from Dynamics 365 was created last month:
Date.IsInPreviousMonth([createdon])
In PowerBI desktop this gives me this result as either 'TRUE' or 'FALSE':
However in PowerBI service it is returning '0' or '-1':
So when the report gets published it breaks any page that uses this filter. Any ideas why this is happening and if it is a bug or not?

Hi @v-piga-msft,
Thank you for the reponce I have tried uploading that PBIX and it works correctly showing TRUE and FALSE on both PowerBi desktop and PowerBi service. This rules out the function being an issue maybe it is the datasource?
Kind regards,
Blocking
Hi @blockingHD ,
Do you publish the same report?
This rules out the function being an issue maybe it is the datasource?
I'm not sure either. I have not had this issue before.
May be this is an template issue. Please always accept the replies making sense as solution to your question so that people who may have the same question can get the solution directly.

Hi @blockingHD ,
By my tests, I cannot reproduce your issue in my site.
Please have a test with my test pbix which I have attached to check if you still have this issue in power bi service.
Best Regards,
Cherry
