Difference between tables and reports

Hi All,

Can someone please give me some clues and guidance as to how I can identify why a correct result shows on my table:

But when I run a report, it shows as this?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Thanks Greg - I solved it myself which was a miracle.  My error - had the wrong date filter on the dashboard report - I was combining data from several tables but selected the date from one.  Instead, I used the calendar table and bingo, all good.  Phew!  Was driving me nuts!

@DianneB Difficult to say without more information. Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

@DianneB Funny, I almost said, try using the "Reset filters" button in the ribbon in the service (over on the right). Should have gone with my gut.
