Hi all,
I was looking for the in depth answer of a question I run into lately and couldn't find one yet.
I was hoping some of you could explain me the exact meaning of the difference between the Table and Value in a cell visible in Power Query?
The content of these two seems to be ver similar (unlike in case of Record) and I'm not sure about its relevance.
Thanks!

No problem. As it's a screenshot from MS Learn, I'd probably guess that it's from a much older version of Power BI/Power Query and the screenshot hasn't been updated as the difference between Value/Record is not relevant in the context in which the screenshot is used.

Hi @PDG_VL ,
I'm unsure why this screenshot is showing "Value" instead of "Record" but, based on the preview data shown, this is clearly a nested record (a single row of data), not a nested table (all rows of data).

Hi,
@BA_Pete, thanks for your answer. I went back and checked and indeed, this is more similar to a Record than to a Table.
I still don't understand why it's called Value. I leave this topic open for a bit more and wait for other answers of try to get that somewhere else.
Thanks
