Date column not filtering on slicer

The transformed columns are showing as Dates.  See by the icon.  All the dates are justified to the right, showing that they are recognized as dates.

Clicking on the dropdown you can see that all the filtering can be done by dates.

I save and apply and look at the column data on the visual and that all matches.

So why am I getting "No available actions" from the slicer?
