Date Slicer Returns Blank Results When Using Dim_Date to Fact Monthly Costs
- 9 months ago
Updated: Download example PBIX file
Add a column to your date table that is the first of the month for each date e.g.
Then use that First Date column in the date slicer. It will work fine with your month slicer, which is presumably getting the month from the same date table.

Thank you. Interesting idea but how this could work if user wants to filter only for exaple 02.01.2025?
Is still not working...

I looked at the sample file you linked to below, and your comments.
You say that you have both Fact_Monthly and Fact_Daily but your sample file does not contain any daily fact data, only monthly.
The question remains, what exactly are you trying to do here? You initially said you had data where all dates in the month were the 1st of the month, but that appears not to be the full picture as you also have a table with daily data.
Why do you need a table of both monthly and daily data? Can't you just use the daily data to create/display the data stored in the monthly table?
Please show all your data and explain exactly what it is you are trying to achieve.
Regards
Phil
