Dataset refreshed in PowerBI but takes a while to populate in Excel using Organizational Data Types

I can see that my dataset has refreshed in PowerBI, but when I look for said information in Excel using organizational data types the data cannot be found immediately.

This is true even after refreshing data in Excel or closing and reopenning Excel.

Sometimes I have to wait overnight to see my data finally populate. What am I doing wrong? My dataset is relatively small... 500 rows and 15 columns or so.

Sorry I'm not clear about what is the "said information in Excel using organizational data types". Can you please provide steps on how you connect to and use the dataset in Excel?
