Datamart connecting to flat file

The new datamart doesn't seem to be able to import data from a flat file, unless that file is first imported into OneDrive and served up via SharePoint. Can anyone clarify whether this functionality will be fixed?

    I have realised I need a Data Gateway. Without that I need to copy files into a SharePoint share.

    Hi ChrisPalmerNZ ,

     

    Do you want to connect to local excel, csv, etc. files?

    Based on my tests, Datamart is able to successfully connect to local files.
