Data takes a long time to Update

I'm updating data from BI to my PowerBI desktop.

Now it is taking a long time to update more than 1 hour.

How I will get Data with Less Time?

    Hi MeghanaB ,

    What is your data source and which connection do you use? Import, dirct query or live connect?

    Are your data source  very large?

    Please have a good look at this document about the tips to improve performance.

    Hi MeghanaB 

     

    There is many reasons for bad performance.

    Can you describe the data sourcs that you conecting too and the size ( rows, columns ) qty.
