Data previews in background checkbox greyed out

Hiya all,   I am having this problem with power query and BI both - forcing me manually refresh numerous queries every time I fire up the engine. The fact that I am using a data source from my org...

I'm having the same problem and I have another one with Power Query in Power BI Desktop. I can't cancel a current refresh using the “Cancel Refresh” button in the “Refresh Preview” button drop-down list.
can anyone help me?
