Data modeling on the online portion of PowerBI

How do i chagne the data type of data? I have connected a onedrive excel sheet and made a repot. Now i would like to change the data tyoe to $. However there is no option on the online version to change the data type. I know how to do it on the desktop version but cant figure it out for the life of me.

how do you change the data type of a connected excel sheet from Onedrive for Business?

I know how to change the data type on the desktop version, but cant figure it out for the life of me on the online version.

In Power BI Service, it is not possible to change data type of columns. Please connect to Excel file on OneDrive following the guide in the article below, then change data type , create reports there. And you can publish reports from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service.
