Creating Power BI extension
Hi Abhayrai ,
According to your description, seems you want to capture the input value in Power BI and use the value in data modeling. If so, you can try to use parameters to visualize variables.
I create a sample to explain it.
1.Create a numeric range parameter.
Then a single value slicer appear automatically, we can manually enter value in this slicer.
Also, in the parameter table, a measure "Parameter Value" created automatically, it's the value we enter in the slicer.
2.For example we create a measure with the "Parameter Value":
Measure = MAX ( 'Table'[Sales] ) * 'Parameter'[Parameter Value]Then measure will change by the value we enter in the slicer.
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
