Could date condition work with KPI and Pivot Table?

Hi All,

I have a requirement to color cell background based on condition date. This requirement cannot be done using conditional formating since i would to compare the date, not the value. I also already try to use DAX function. Unfortunately DAX doesnt work for formating the table, just able to compare the date. Then i try to use R script, but it useless since i have many row and coloumn plus i cannot formating based on the color.

Then i further to search and google, i found another way rather than color the cell which is put the indicator as picture below.

The condition are :

when the passed datelie, the indicator will color in red.

when the dateline is today, the indicator show yellow color.

when the dateline in coming, the indicator shows green color.

Could this requirement be solved by using KPI and Pivot Table?

I have been spend a few weeks to full fill this requirement. Hope someone can help me to solve this problem.:smileysad:

    Hi melina,

It's confusing, The picture is a table visual or your resource table?

As I tested, it hard to achieve your requirement. You want to add a indicator to display the status(different colours for different rows)? Based on this article, a indicator usually displays one status.

    Best Regards,
