Connector for SAP BusinessObjects universes?

I heard a rumor that PowerQuery for Excel's connector for SAP BusinessObjects universes would be removed in an upcoming release.  Is there any truth to that rumor?  I don't want to invest development resources using that connector if it will be eliminated soon.
