Connecting to real-time flight data

Hello good people

I'm trying to a SQL server dataset of flight data.

There are a number of views I usually connect to.

On most views I connect to in the database without any issues. But one particular view returns me an error:

--

"Failed to sace modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Microsoft SQL: Unspecified error.'."

--

I have tried to connect on several occasions via different accounts and I encountner the same issue.

To be clear though, this is a SQL server issue, not a Power BI issue - because I get the same result in Excel.

Has anyone experienced this before?

@joakleigh,

Do you get any issues when selecting this particular view in SQL Server Management Studio? Does this view contain any special data type and have you found any difference between this view and other views?

In addition, please write T-SQL to select specific columns from this view during the connection process and check if you get errors in Power BI Desktop.
