Connecting to JIRA via REST API - getting error "An API Key value wasn't specified"
I am trying to connect to our JIRA via the following URL xxxx.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/search, where xxxx is the name of my company. I generated an API Token here https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-...
I had the same issue as you, and was able to solve it by following the steps on the following page:
The TL;DR is that you have to use your username and JIRA API key as the password under 'Basic'
