Connecting SAP R/3 (SAP ECC) Modules from Power BI

Hi, I am exporing the best ways to do the below:

1. Connect SAP R/3 Data directly from Power BI

2. Connect SAP R/3 Data from SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

3. Connect SAP R/3 Data from Azure Data Factory

Please let me know the options available.

I'm also interested in connecting data on SAP ECC to Power BI. We currently don't have SAP HANA. 

Does anyone know if there's any way that I can connect Power BI ?

Hi @skarthick6,

Firstly, we are not able to directly connect to SAP R/3 (SAP ECC) from Power BI, an idea about this issue has been submitted in this link, please vote it up.

Secondly, you can review this article about how to connect to SAP R/3 from SSIS, if you have any questions about transferring data using SSIS, please post the question in SQL Server Integration Services forum.  After moving data from SAP R/3 to SQL Server table, you can connect to the table from Power BI Desktop.

Thirdly, as far as I know, it is not possible to connect to SAP R/3 from Azure Data Factory, please vote this idea and post the question in the Azure Data Factory forum.
