Connecting Power Query to Relatics
Has anyone of you ever used Power Query to get data out of Relatics (without using an export file)? If so, how?!

Hi ooptennoort,
Yes, it is possible to connect Power Query directly to Relatics without using an export file. Relatics exposes a REST API (OData and/or SOAP), which you can query from Power Query / Power BI.
Here are the main approaches:
- OData Feed (recommended): If your Relatics environment supports OData, you can use the built-in OData Feed connector in Power Query. Go to Get Data → OData Feed and enter your Relatics OData endpoint URL. You may need to authenticate using Basic or OAuth credentials provided by your Relatics administrator.
- Web / REST API: Relatics also has a REST API. You can use the Web connector in Power Query with the appropriate endpoint URL and authentication headers. Use
Web.Contents()in M with headers for your API key or token. - Custom Connector: For more advanced integration, you can build a custom Power Query connector (.pqx) using the Relatics API documentation.
A typical M query using the Web connector would look like this:
let Source = Web.Contents("https://your-tenant.relatics.com/api/...", [Headers=[Authorization="Bearer your_token"]]), result = Json.Document(Source) in result
I recommend checking the Relatics documentation for the specific API endpoint structure and authentication method your organization uses.
Hope this helps!
