Connecting 2 datasets that have tables with common names

Hi all,

I tried connecting with 2 datasets (Product Mix and Daily Sales) that have some tables with the same name, and it's causing some problem when I try update the dash.

Is it possible to solve that problem without contacting the dataset admin to change the tables name or delate the tables?

Exemple.: Dimension Calendar; Dimension Store Name with the same name on both data sets

Are your data from Power BI datasets?

Since Table names and Column names are metadata, if the connection mode is Live connection, there is no option available to change them:

You can rename data sources (tables) as well as columns - you can also choose to rename columns for the entire data model or only for a given visual.
