Connect to cloud based SSAS not working in Designer
It's great to see efforts to support SSAS MD in latest PBID Nov release but unfortunately in our context it doesn't work. We are using an ssas server on a vm on Azure accessed using xxx.cloudapp.net....
This issue still persists and has been reported 4 weeks ago. Could anyone from the dev community at least confirmt this is a known bug/expected behaviour?

is your azure vm connected to a domian?
Update to previous incorrect statement: the vm is part of a domain and again: it works in Excel why not in Power BI???
