Connect to IBM Cognos/TM1/Planning Analytics
Hi everyone,
What is the best way to connect PBI to Cognos/TM1/Planning Analytics cubes?
I know there is no connector built into PBI at the moment for this. Instead of dumping cubes into a SQL DB and connecting PBI that way, i want to go direct from the IBM environment to PBI.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

Anonymous,
Please review my reply in the similar thread below. You can able to use ODBC connector or web connector in Power BI Desktop to connect to Cognos TM1 database.

Hi Ben,
As an alternative you could consider https://www.acterys.com a solution that we have developed as a "TM1 for SQL Server". It offers similar modelling, write-back / planning features with the advantage that all data is stored in a single SQL database (cloud or on premise)
