Connect to Excel restricted file

Dear Team,

I have a question,

I would like to connect power query to few excel files, those file are restricted to few usuers (NOT PROCTECTED BY PASSWORD).  Unfortunately when I am trying to connect power query it doesn't allowing to connect to restricted excel files. (I have putted the restriction that mean I definitly should have access).

I would be very appreciated if someone have a solution for my case.

Based on my research, it is not supported yet currently. There is an idea about that you can vote it up to make this feature coming sooner.
