1 - What is the best way to connect power bi to the Oracle Autonomous Database securely?

2- Do we require an Oracle API for this to be secure?

There are two connection modes of Oracle Autonomous Database, Direct Query and Import.

Direct Query is more secure than Import mode because it does not import data into Power BI Desktop, it is a direct connection to the data source. For more information, you can refer to:
