Connect .iqy file to Power Bi Desktop
Hi irina_berlin ,
There is a similar thread here, the reason is that Web.BrowserContent() does not support the organization's authentication type. The new WEB connector uses it by default.

How to get your questions answered quickly -- How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum
Hi Gao,
thanx a lot for the reply! Referreing to this solution
1. I've understood the problem
2. I've tested the approach 2: Consider Using Web.Page instead of Web.BrowserContents. -->unfortunately, it didn't work. I think, the reason is the note saying: "Currently, you can't turn off the use of Web.BrowserContents in Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server." (Which version of Power BI Desktop is optimized?)
3. I cannot use the Sharepoint folder connector, as my library has more than 12 look-up columns. So my workaround is/was to comprise the library in several views and export each of them to an .iqy -file. Finally I wanted to connect each .iqy-file to the PowerBi Desctor to make evaluations. If you know an another workaround for libraries with more than 12 look- up columns, please help :).
4. I tested the way SP Online library-->Integrate-->PowerBi-->Vizualizations. But it cannot be included into a page and the most impoortant - it doesn't show all existant columns of the library, just a part of them. I didn't find the way how to choose the columns. Additionally I need an another data source connected to the library data, so it is not possible too (as I understand).
Best regards
Irina
