I have been using and R script to "Get Data" scraped from a government site and it had been working until a couple of days ago. When I tried to run a modified script I get the following error:
Unable to Contect
We encountered an error while trying to connect.
Details: "EvaluateNativeQueryUnpermitted failure: the query ' ..... ' isn't approved for execution."
I modified the query to as simple as possible, it seems like Power BI won't run ANY R scripts anymore and I can't figure out why. I can still refresh the the data with query I wrote a couple days ago using the "refresh" button but if i copy and paste the script into the dialog box it won't run.
Maybe there is a better solution is this topic

I am having a similar error in my database.
I find a turnaround to solve this error.
I was using a parameter in the source and database, I switch to use text and the query works fine.
Hope I can help you.
