Compare values and enter data

Hello....

I have two tables

----------------TABLE ASISTENCIAS------------------------

ID        NAME               PARTNER                    EMAIL

6          PEDRO              MICROSOFT              [email protected]

7          MANUEL           AMAZON                  [email protected]

8          JUAN                 GOOGLE                   [email protected]

----------------------------------------------------------------

I want to compare the ID value of the Attendance table with the Attendance value of the Reports table and then take the data (names, Members and Mail) and add it to the reports table.

I want this result.

----------------TABLE REPORTS---------------------------

ID          DATE                TIME         DETAILS      ASISTENCIA      NAME       PARTNER            EMAIL

100      12-03-2022       10.00         WALK                   6             PEDRO      MICROSOFT     [email protected]

200      15-03-2022       11.00         PLAY                    7             MANUEL    AMAZON          [email protected]

300      17-03-2022       12.00         SLEEP                   8              JUAN        GOOGLE           [email protected]

Thanks you

  • Hi Anonymous ,

    1) In Power Query, select your Reports table then go to the Home tab > Merge Queries.

    2) When the dialog opens, select the [ID] column from the top preview window.

    3) From the dropdown list near the bottom preview window, select your Attendance table.

    4) In the bottom preview window, select the [ASISTENCIA] column.

    5) Near the bottom of the dialog, make sure the 'Join Kind' dropdown shows LEFT OUTER.

    6) Hit OK to merge, then use the button at the top-right of your new column which looks like two arrows bending away from each other to choose the columns you want to expand.
