Close and Apply Query Editor without Waiting
Hi, UlisesCiccola , according to my experience, it doesn't matter to quit Power Query on clicking "Close & Apply" while those yellow dots float; yet another box pomps up while all the updates in PQ are deploying.
I would agree 99% of the time with CNENFRNL here, but I have seen times where the refresh fails due to an "error" and the fix is to go to that query, and refresh that specific query and wait for the yellow dots to finish. The larger your tables, and the more merges or appends you have, the more I've seen this pop up in recent months. I think it has to do with the new Enhanced Metadata format that rolled out a few months ago. I never recalled seeing this issue until 2020. Before, it always happened as CNENFRNL indicated. Now it just mostly does.
