Change the data source of Excel file to Folder

Hello guys!

Is the second time a asked for you help in this theme, i was think i sould the problem, but i don't.

So i was trying to change my data source of a Excel file to a folder and i chose the patch of add the folder copy what is on the advance editor and past to the excel adanve editor, and yes change my data source.

But also delete all my changes i made on my power query, and i can't lose that. I need to change my data source, but i can't lose anything i did on the projet.

I try to change the parameters but don't work because i don't change my file i just change where i go catch the information.

So i need help to try to fix my problem

Hi, @DAFONSO 

Seems like you can change the data source but lost all the applied steps. You can duplicate the table and then change the data source. So, in the new table, you have got your desired data source and you can get all your applied steps from the source table's advanced editor. Just copy rest of the applied steps and you are done.
