Cannot log into Azure through on-premises data gateway

I just installed the on-premises data gateway, and as part of configuration, it wants me to connect to Azure; but when I try to log in, I keep getting a "We don't recognize this User ID or password" error.

I can log into Azure from IE or Firefox just fine, but attempts to log in through the gateway continue to fail. I've checked the log files to no avail.

Any thoughts?

What account do you use to sign in Power BI Service(app.powerbi.com)? If you can successfully log in Power BI Service, use the same account to sign in Azure as shown in the screenshot below during the process of installing Power BI gateway.

You hit the nail right on the head -- that was my exact problem. While I had signed up for Azure, I hadn't yet signed up for Power BI. As soon as did that, I was able to finish configuring the Data Gateway.
