Cannot connect to local MySQL database.

sois Ignore that link and instead download x64 bit MySQL connector and install yourself. I have seen before where doing that has fixed the problem.
I don't know how to fix, but if I can confirm it's an issue with the v8.0.33 driver. If you install v8.0.32 it works fine. The v8.0.33 driver does not work with the On-prem gateway or Excel also.
I also had the same issue and it got resolved by downgrading the .NET agent to v8.0.32.

Yes, v8.0.32 does work fine, but v8.0.32 was flagged by our Security team as having a vulnerability which is why I upgraded to v8.0.33 which doesn't work.
