Cannot connect SAP BW anymore since May 18 release

Hey folks,

 

after installing the May release of Power BI I am not longer able to connect our SAP BW system.

 

SAP RFC SDK is installed (correct bit - version and up-to-date). If I am downgrading to the April release everythings works fine again but of course I want to use the latest version...

 

Any thoughts on that!

    Anonymous,

    Please update your Desktop to Power BI Desktop June release, I can successfully connect to SAP BW in the June release.

      Hi Lydia,

       

      thanks for the hint, after installing the new release everything works fine again.

       

      After rethinking I believe my download of the May release was corrupted in one way or another and that this wasnt a general problem at all.

      By the way (if somebody in the future has similar problems) the download which wasnt working correct was donwloaded from MS Store the ones running fine directly from www.microsoft.com.....
