I've got a message when the scheduled refresh has failed, the on-premise data gateway has been patched and restarted, the error still occurred. I've also re-added the data sources via manage gateway from Power BI service. Still not working, can anyone provide suggestions on this? Thanks!
Since one week, I have the same problem. I tried to restart gateway and after tried to reinstall gateway but no change.

After I reinstalled the gateway it didn't work right away either, but after a couple of hours the scheduled refresh started working again. So either the re-installation helped, or it fixed itself...
I have also started receiving this error. All seems to work ok in Desktop (Version: 2.54.4970.961 64-bit (January 2018)) but when I publish i receive this error. I've restarted my gateway but not made any difference.
Got same error message for a while, but seems to be fixed right now!
@fotg,
What is your data source and what version of Power BI Desktop do you use? Would you please post the complete gateway log?
