Can’t upload this report

Whil etrying to connect to, upload, or import an Excel file, I repeatedly get the following error:   Something went wrong Failed to publish Excel workbook Please try again later or contact suppor...

Hi Maggie,

 

I am using PowerBI through the Web Browser (as there is no Desktop edition for MacOS). 

 

The file is an .xlsx (Excel 2016), and is only 1.44MB. The file also has no macros, or VBA. It is located on my OneDrive which is attached to the same Office365 account that I use for PowerBI.

 

Unfortunately I cannot share the file, as the information in it is confidential. I just tried importing again, and got the following error:

 

Something went wrong
Failed to configure selected file
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Do you have a Power BI pro account?
