Can I schedule refresh for my Microsoft Project Online OData feed?

I have a Microsoft Project Online subscription and would like to schedule data refresh using the Project OData feed. Can Power BI do that?

Yes! Power BI can refresh your Microsoft Project Online OData feed.
- Just install and open your Power Bi Designer
- create an OData connection using your PWA feed URL
- select few or all Project tables
- build your report
- upload your .pbix file to Power BI
- click on the dots next to your dataset and select SCHEDULE REFRESH
- set your time zone and time
- set your credentials
- DONE!

    I am doing same, But Schedule Refresh first two option is disable for me, i am pro user Personal Gatway and Credentials option is disable for all other dataset as well. Can anybody help me on this.Manual Resfresh is also not working. Personal Gatway is also not configure.

    Hi Allan,

     

    thanks for this reply and your article. However, when I try these exact steps I'm confronted with a authentication issue (it fails to accept my credentials).

     

    I remember doing similar things connecting an Excel file stored in a Sharepoint online doc lib, but that fails too.

     

    Do you know if this is a bug that came up in the last few months? Can you still do this successfully?
