Hello - so here's my conondrum and hoping someone can help me out with it! I have two data sources - 1 is a SharePoint Online List - which I'm able to connect to. The other is a CSV File (that is downloaded from a CRM tool called Insightly). For now, I'm manually downloading the .CSV file from Insightly and want to put it on Sharepoint and have that as another data-source. How does one do this? The only thing that it looks like I can do is actually connect to the SharePoint Page and it's not seeing the .CSV File. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
How I have done this is as follows:
https://sharepoint.com/Folderspath/File.csvadditional information then https://sharepoint.com/Folderspath/File.csv
You can use Get Data option in Power BI service(https://app.powerbi.com) and select FILES>Sharepoint-Team Sites.
Give the root URL and niavigate to the file from there.
Example :https://companydomain.sharepoint.com/sites/teamsitename
Regards,
Bilahari
Thanks - I figured it out. I placed the file out on a folder and connected to it via Get Data > Sharepoint Folder. My issue was that I guess I forgot to click on the 'Content' column to actually expand into the subset of data.
Thanks!
