Bringing in Fiscal Year Designation from another table
I have two queries, a fiscal year calendar, and a timesheet ledger. The Fiscal Year table is 3 columns, the Fiscal year (ex. FY24), a start date (ex. 6/1/2024), and an end date (ex. 5/31/2025). The Timesheet ledger is a list of all timesheet postings, with one column being a timesheet time stamp (ex. 8/10/2024).
In power query, I'd like to make a custom column on the Timesheet ledger that brings in the fiscal year designation from the fiscal year calendar. So for example, it should look at a timesheet time stamp of 8/10/2024, reference the fiscal year calendar, realize that it's between 6/1/2024 and 5/31/2025, and give me FY24. I'm thinking it needs to use the timesheet date and do some sort of less than calc referencing the other table, but not sure of the right way to go about this.

Invest in a calendar table that has day level granularity and has columns for your fiscal date attributes.
