Append Multiple Tabs
I am trying to append multiple tabs from the same workbook that do not all have the same column names I have deliberately created columns that should be the same, but are slightly different, for example: discount% and Discount percentage.
I would like them to be in the same column, but I am unsure how to do this...
The file is below https://1drv.ms/x/s!Ai6gxyzK45jhlAHenCeTjQ1sZ5Ej?e=08vMuv
Many thanks
Warren
Hi Anonymous
"Append" is based on the same column names, so if columns' name is not the same, it would not work.
If you want to append mutiple tabs, you can do this way:
right-click the excel name, then select "transform data",
As you see above, the columns would be append based on the orders.
so if you want it works, please reorder your columns in excel with the same order.

- Greg_DecklerCommunity ChampionWait, why are you creating them with different names deliberately and then trying to append them into the same column? Because if they were the same names, they would automagically append into the same columns.

Thanks Greg
You are correct, I am trying to sort to see if I can do this on a small scale to see if I can replicate it later....
I realise that different countries will have the same columns, but might have different languages, so if I can do this, then the different language will not be problem...
Thanks
